Yes Michelle; Mexico is awesome and Puerto )))ROCKS(((! There even a moto cross track just 300 yards from where I live and of couse it has a full on Ocean View.
Have a "HIGH AIR" NEW YEAR all Year of 2008.

Well the real deal is: Puerto )))ROCKS(((! and Rocks year round. The waves are pretty darn good down here if your up to bone crushing beach break or a nice left point break. Jan thru Feb are often the smallest swells we have with normal head high sets but a few double overhead swells each of those months will most likely visit us.
On the wetsuit: Well the guys down here are wearing them this past month as they think the water is cold at 74 to 78 F but you'll think your in a bathtub.
Our normal "MEXPIPE" surf event is not going to happen in Feb like it did last year but rather we're looking more towards the end of 2008, maybe early Oct or even as late as early Dec. There are contest here almost every month from April thru Nov including the X GAMES which are in Aug or so.
