With any sport you can do what you want to do. We like skate/snow/inline sports because it gives you the option to be as creative as possible. Whether your riding an urban rail to hitting the 30' at a mountain you can be creative. The rush that you get after landing a big trick that you've been working on feels great. Everyone has their own style there's no "oh do this or do that," its your own way, your own lifestyle. Thats what One Way Up Productions is all about: doing your own thing and having fun while doing it.
Before OWUP (One Way Up Productions) there was TC snowskate, a embarrassing and very poorly edited video of us at a local hill, basically no creativity at all and the music was the wrong choice ,but hey everyone has to start somewhere and we didn't know what we were doing. Another moment was our first production group name: "Steezy Clown Productions" obviously "steezy clown" didn't go too far.
We don't "train" its more of getting together and doing what we enjoy. Usually we'll go to a local hill and set up some boxes and rails, or go to the mountain it's all good.
Mostly alternative, depends on the mood, when riding its preferred something that'll get me going. Usually a wide range of music, if we're editing it's nice to listen to the music we use or something similar, when riding its more of a faster pace beat.
We compete because we know that we have something to show and that we have the skills to do it.
