TEAM INTERROGATION

What inspires you to compete?

We believe the number one thing that inspires us to compete is knowing that all of our hard work and dedication during training will finally be put to the test during a race with folks we may have never met.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Do we train? You're darn right we do. Although some of our schedules may conflict from time to time our team members run at least three to five times a week logging in at least 20-30 miles. Some of our Marathoners log in up to 70 miles a week. Our Triathletes do the runs and then do their biking and swimming. These workouts dont include the training we do with our marines on a day to day basis which may include long hikes with 70lb packs on our backs or the occasional challenging circuit course. We train because we know that one day our life and or someone elses life may depend on how fit we are. Having a rifle in our hand helps too...

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Most kids played Army when they were little. We were constantly wrestling around and pretending to shoot each other. Well I can say, team Running Warriors is living the dream as United States Marines. Ooh Rah!!!

  Yo Team,

Hear ya loud and clear. I am of course taking my time because this time around it will be an investment in my physical/mental health as well as performance. I was once asked after someone hearing the (relatively low compared to many bikes today) price of my current and well used up cannondale, What kind of engine does it have? I just said, "you're looking at it!!

Thanks for reminding me whats really important. Whats inside!!
