What inspires you to compete?When I watch the Olympics or X-games or other boarders pulling off some gnarly trick, I think "I can do that," and then I go out and try to. It's also about originality for me, being a pioneer. What has been your most embarrassing moment?My first backflip attempt was a complete fiasco. I landed on my head and messed myself up but good. I whiplashed my back, compresed my neck, bruise my tailbone and bit my tongue to boot. Why do you like this sport?Snowboarding is many things to me. It is an escape for one. When I'm shreding, I'm not thinking about ANYTHING else but powder; no school, work, nothing. It's an expresion, like an art form, with a realy big white canvas, anything is a jib, a kicker, something to grind. Some Personal Information About Me:I'm a mountain guy. Hiking, climbing, biking, camping, that's how I roll. I love music too, all kinds of music. Oldies, country, rock, 80's, hip-hop, some pop, pop rock, rap, jazz, even some classical. I love putting a soundtrack to my boarding. How's Life Treating You?Awesome, "the experts" predict unusually high amounts of lake effect snow off lake Erie this winter, bring it on!
