I haven't done much competing at all for various reasons but I will be this year as well as others. But Competing to me is all about turning the fear notch off and really stompin the risky tricks, and competition always gets me into progressing and learning new huge tricks and making my other tricks consistent
My style is no limits, performing high risk, innovative tricks with as much style as possible, I really want to combine more aspects of the sport together to keep it versatile and to open new doors for the snowboard world
Involved with snowboarding and the mountains as much as I can, I'll be riding til the day when i literally can't, and then after that, I will pursue another snow sport or job
It's a never ending way of life, I've learned to look at snowboarding as blessing. Something you can do that relieves anxieties with no limits and no one telling you what the right way is. It defines freedom by being able to shut your mind off and live in the moment, but at the same time to maintain such a clear, humble persepective. it teaches you about yourself in many ways.
Yes, this year will be the most focused, and prepared I'v ever bin to go up to my mountain everyday which puts out a pro level terrain park and train as much as the conditions will let me. I have benn going to Camp of Champions terrain park at Whistler B.C. in the summer for the last 3 years to train and already have session booked for next summer to train more. I am ready to create brand new tricks, and master old ones for years to come.I gave up partying and smoking and now my mind is literally the clearest and zoned in its ever been to progress, create, and perform insane tricks.
